The Baltimore County School System requires that all volunteers must complete the volunteer application and participate in an online orientation/training session once every year.

The BCPS Application for Volunteer Services and Training sessions and are now available online!

Step 1: Complete the BCPS Application for Volunteer Services. This can be completed on line by going to www.bcps.org under Parents, then click “Application for Volunteer Services” along the side panel.   

Step 2: Complete the ONLINE volunteer orientation at http://bcpsvolunteers.md.safeschools.com/register/0c626573  

Or you can get to this orientation through www.bcps.org under Parents, click either “Volunteer with BCPS” or “BCPS Online Volunteer Orientation” along the side panel.  You will receive a certificate to print out once you successfully complete the online orientation training.    

Step 3:  Print and Submit both the application and the valid training certificate to the school in which you intend to volunteer.  Both documents must be submitted at the same time to be accepted and reviewed by the school staff.
